A few more theories about our Universe

Now that we know more about The Big Bang, why don't we take a look at some other theories?
The first theory I'd like to mention is the Steady State Universe theory. In fact, most scientists had believed in it before they found evidence for The Big Bang. The first person to describe it was Sir James Jeans - an English astronomer, he did that in the 1920s. The main concept of this theory is that the Universe keeps expanding but its density remains the same. Furthermore, the Universe has always existed and will always exist. However, it's been scientifically proven that this theory is unreal.
Another alternative to The Big Bang is the Parallel Universes theory, known better as the Multiverse theory. Its followers assume that there is a big number of other universes that perhaps have completely different laws of physics. This one is also kind of unreal though, as there is no scientific base for it. But hey, what's wrong in having a wild imagination?
The last theory is called the Mirror Universe theory. I found it the most interesting. The assumption is that our Universe has some kind of a "mirrored twin" - a universe in which time moves backwards. If we got to live in it, we would just see time going forward, just as in this Universe. Sounds weird but awesome in the same time...
There are a lot of other theories I'll probably describe in the future. Hope you enjoyed reading my post. Here are the links to the sources:

One possible form of a multiverse would be bubbles of universes.
