Is it possible that we will stop being a throwaway society?

It's very likely that we'll stop being a throwaway society because constant Earth pollution may lead to drastic climate change. Recycling can prevent it by producing less carbon, a chemical element which is really harmful to the environment. Besides,  the results of throwing away too many materials are already visible - global warming is one of them. In conclusion, we are forced to stop being a throwaway society, as people certainly won't be able to adapt to such big climate alteration.
