Does school prepare us for life?

School prepares us for adult life but not entirely. At school we learn how to communicate in a group, which is definitely a skill that is appreciated in work. We also gain knowledge by talking with peers and teachers. However, there's no doubt that most teachers use the same teaching methods that don't require creative thinking. They don't attempt to discuss matters connected with adult life. To conclude, school prepares us for certain aspects of life but we have to learn the rest ourselves.
