Recently my family members have become interested in Warsaw's housing market. They noticed that prices of flats are increasing. We all came to conclusion that it's hard for many young people to repay the loan, even if their flat is not that big. This is probably caused by the influx of people who travel to Warsaw in search of work. Renting a flat is also expensive these days. What came to my mind is that the government ought to take care of the issue because someone with an average salary may face difficulties when trying to find a roof over the head.
Frankly, I think the government's responsibility is to make sure that young people have attractive job and life opportunities in various places in Poland, not just in big cities. Otherwise, in a few decades, we'll have a 15 million monster city in central Poland and ghost towns and villages everywhere else.
OdpowiedzUsuńAs you've said finding place to live in Warsaw is really hard for young people but they can't leave it, though because they won't be able to find job in other places. Government should make sure that there're places to work in other, smaller towns not only in capital city
